Passed away peacefully after a short and courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie. Doug Coulter of Barrie in his 69th year, beloved husband of the late Margaret. Much loved father of Colleen (Mark) Bunker and Kevin (Denise). Very proud Papa of Matthew, Michael and Zoe. Lovingly remembered by his sister Marlene Ruth (Blaine Killick) and his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brother Brian and his parents Roy and Theresa.
Doug was an active member for many years with Elmvale-Flos Firefighters, minor baseball, minor hockey, Beavers & Scouts and the Barrie Auto Auction and will be remembered by the friends he made there.
Friends may call at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home, Elmvale, on Saturday, December 17th from 1 to 3 pm. A Memorial Service will follow, in the Chapel, at 3 pm.
