Passed away suddenly at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Bowmanville on Monday, January 21, 2019. Jim Sommerville of Bowmanville formerly of Elmvale in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Lois Sommerville. Dear father of Sharon (Alan Nielsen), Colleen (John Shiels) and Glenn (Sonya Jones). Fondly remembered by his 8 grandchildren, Allison and Eric Nielsen, Matthew, Lauren and Nicholas Shiels, and Sabrina, Julia and Rebecca Sommerville. Will be lovingly remembered by sisters Eileen and Sandra.
Cremation has taken place.
A brief service will be held at the St. John's United Church in Elmvale on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11 am. Everyone is welcome to join the family at 11:30 am on February 2, at the St. John's United Church Hall for a reception.
