Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, December 22, 2025.  Margaret Irvine of  Wasaga Beach formerly of Elmvale in her 88th year.  Wife of the late Rod Irvine for 44 years and beloved companion of the late Lawrence Townes.  Mother of Karen (John) Harty and Kelly (Randy) Willson.  Grandmother of Stephanie Harty (Chris and Azariah) Brittney Willson (Richard) Brandon Willson (Carmen) 

Beloved by extended family Brian, Sharon, Lacey (Ruth) Ken Townes and Nathan, Kim, Elliana Townes.  

The youngest and last of ten children of the late Robert and Grace Simpson

She will be fondly remembered by many special nieces and nephews, family and friends. 

A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 10 am - 12 pm.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 12 pm, followed by a reception.

Cremation with a private spring interment at the Elmvale Presbytery Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider a Memorial donation in Margaret's memory to the Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood, St. John's United Church,, Elmvale Food Bank, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
