Terrance (Terry) Edward Lush, a lifelong resident of Springwater Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on January 12, 2026, at 6:03 am at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario. He was 79 years old.
Born on March 24, 1946, Terry was the son of the late Tony and Alice Lush of Elmvale. A man defined by his strength and integrity, Terry was a dedicated farmer and construction worker. He lived by a simple code: work hard and always be there to help others. His presence was a staple of the Springwater community for nearly eight decades.
Terry is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Lush, and his five sons: Jason (Kristie), Jeremy (Shauni), Matthew (Kelli Copegog-Cote), Jonathan (Heather), and Sean. He was the proud and cherished grandfather of Zachary, Riley, Rawson, Emma, Kylie, Zoe, Addisyn, and Taylor.
Terry is survived by his sister, Drusilla(Fred). He was predeceased by his brothers Albert (Susian), Robert (Noreen), Barrie, Jim, and by his sisters Norma (Jack) and Mary (Lloyd).
His legacy of kindness and community spirit will be forever missed by his family, his many friends, and the neighbors he so often helped.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
