Passed away peacefully at her residence in Wyevale on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in her 87th year. Joan Hopkins, formerly of Toronto, born in Toronto to Mary and Herbert Hopkins. Loving sister of June Hopkins and Jose Speck. Sister-in-law to Barb Hopkins. Predeceased by parents and siblings John Hopkins, Jean McFadden, Joyce Hopkins and Jim Hopkins. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and 1 great great great nephew and many, many friends.
Friends may call at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home, Elmvale, on Monday October 2nd from 11 am until time of the service, in the chapel, at 1 pm.
Interment Wyevale Cemetery followed by a reception at the Wyevale United Church hall.
Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
