Passed away peacefully at his home in Wyevale surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. Sheumas Fay of Wyevale in his 77th year. Loving husband and best friend of Catherine Fay (nee Moran) for 55 years. Dear father of Steve (Brenda) Fay, Shannon (Dennis) Kuglin, Mary Fay, Lori Branton, Colleen (Jeff) Ewart, Corinne (Keith) Norwood, Kevin (Shannon) Fay, Kent (Leyla) Fay, Cullen (Andrea) Fay, and Patti (Tyler) McComb. Beloved grandpa of 27 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Brother of Rosaleen (late Howard) Engel, late Betty (Paul) Wojcik, and Sheila (Ken) Jones. Brother-in-law of late Lorena (Wayne) Batterman, Francis (Brenda) Moran, Helen (Frank) Beirnes, Pat (Bill) Scott, late Camilla Silverthorn, John (Brenda) Moran, and Jerome Moran. Pre-deceased by his parents Joseph and Annie Fay. Sheumas will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 7-9 pm Saturday, May 26 and from 2-4 and 7-9 on Sunday, May 27. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Elmvale on Monday, May 28 at 11 am.

Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery in Phelpston.

Everyone is welcome to join the family for an Irish wake after the funeral at the Elmvale Curling Club from 1pm -7 pm.

Memorial donations to Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Elmvale, St. Patrick's Church in Phelpston, the St. Stanislaus Church Building Fund in Chatsworth, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
