KERK, JOHN FRANCISCUS

 (Ret. Peel Regional Police after 26 years of service)

Passed away suddenly and most unexpectedly at his residence, Deanlea Beach, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in his 68th year.  Cherished husband of 44 years to Peggy (nee Janssen).  Much loved father of Karen Kerk, Kelly (Justin) Morris, Jeff (Angela) Kerk and Kristal (Greg) Mitchell. Precious Opa of Ben, Liam, Ainsley, Julia, Cohen, Keira and William.  Dear son of Thera Kerk-Boelens and predeceased by has father Marinus Kerk.  John will be lovingly remembered by his siblings in Holland, Bert (Marion) Kerk, Nico (Jolande) Kerk, Jacqueline Kerk and Lucille (Bert) Kerk-Snoek, his extended Janssen family, and his many wonderful neighbours, family and friends at Deanlea Beach and beyond.

Friends may call at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home, Elmvale, Wednesday, August 15th from 5 to 7 pm.

Everyone is invited to Brooklea Golf and Country Club, Cty Rd 93, Midland, on Thursday, August 16th from 1 to 4 pm to celebrate John's life.  A service will begin at 1:30.

If desired and in lieu of flowers memorial donations to Georgian Bay General Hospital- CT Scanner would be appreciated by the family.
