SLEIGH, ROBERT (BOB)

SLEIGH, Robert (Bob) of Woodland Beach, Tiny Township, at the age of 74, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2018 with his wife and son at his side. He was loved and will be remembered fondly by his wife of 51 years June, son Rob (Susan) Sleigh, daughter Lyndsay (predeceased) (Tim) Patzer, sister Joan Lawson, grandchildren Elijah, Maya, Nathan, Natasha, Emily, brothers-in-law Rob Andrews and Lorne Andrews (predeceased), aunt Janet Raikes, and his many nieces and nephews. Bob will be remembered as a friendly gentleman who was always willing to lend a helping hand, an enthusiastic sportsman, and dedicated member of the Elmvale Curling Club and Bay Shore Seniors Golf Club. The family would like to thank the staff at RVH Barrie for the care they provided to Bob during the short time that he was there, and the paramedics from CSPS Collingwood. In keeping with his wishes, no service will be held. If desired, donations can be made in Bob’s name to Hospice Simcoe, the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a charity of your choice.
