Passed away peacefully at the Creedan Valley Nursing Home on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Norm Johnston (Sam) of Creemore, formerly of Barrie in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Jean Muriwske. Dear father of Terry (pre-deceased) (Peggy) McKinney, Lura Muriwske (Ray Major pre-deceased), David Johnston (Sheila Brown), and Susan Gilbert (Paul Fournier). Loving grandfather of Shannon, Brandon, Christina, Johnny, Charity, and great grandfather of Allie, Maria, and Luca. Son of the late Pearl and Joe Johnston. Brother of Agnes Cah and the late Mervin, James, Iva and Velma.
A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home on Thursday, November 8 from 5 – 9 pm.
Cremation with interment of ashes in the Elmvale Cemetery on Saturday, November 17 at 1 pm.
