BUCHY, JAMES PATRICK

Jim Buchy passed away peacefully on Aug 9th at Georgian Manor (Long-Term Care), after a long battle with frontal lobe dementia. Jim leaves behind his loving wife, Sharon Buchy, to whom he was married to for more than 50 years. He was father to Rhonda (Eric) Wnek and grandfather to Liam and Aaden. Jim was an engineer who spent most of his retirement years travelling and resting on the beach at his home near Georgian Bay. Jim will be missed and forever loved by all who knew him.

Following cremation, the family will honour Jim with a private celebration of life. Donations in memory of Jim can be made to the long-term care centre at Georgian Manor. Otherwise, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
