SHEREMETO, KENNETH

     Passed away suddenly, surrounded by family, at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland, on Saturday, November 30, 2019, in his 73rd year. Son of the late Anne and John Sheremeto of Toronto. Loving husband for 51 years to Mary Lou Sheremeto (nee DesRochers). Cherished by his daughters Beverley Sheremeto (Rob Nagle) and Jennifer Sheremeto (Terry Grasby) and admired by his step granddaughter Paige Grasby (Blaze Coulson). Beloved brother of Catherine (Steve Kemley) and Paul Sheremeto (Debbie).  Ken will be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ken shared many laughs and great times with his inlaws and friends. He had a unique sense of humour.

     Ken was an avid snowmobiler and enjoyed boating around Orr Lake. Retired from Nortel after 33 years. Ken and Mary travelled extensively into various parts of North America. In his early years Ken enjoyed playing baseball in Elmvale and curling at the Elmvale Curling Club. He was also a proud member of the Hillsdale Lions Club. Ken loved his cars and could be seen with his '55 Chevy around Orr Lake for many years.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation or the Elmvale Curling Club would be appreciated by the family and will be accepted at Lynn-Stone Funeral Home, Elmvale
