SMITH, MARY LAWSON FRASER (nee REID)

 September 9, 1950 - December 12, 2019

Passed away peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia, with her family by her side. Devoted wife of 48 years to Andrew Smith, loving mother of Jacqueline Sattler(Nick) of Orillia and Carole Tabbert (Reid) of Elmvale. Very proud Nana of Taylor Geisel, Jordan Geisel, Jacob Sattler (predeceased), Ryleigh Tabbert, Raegan Tabbert and Jessica Sattler. Predeceased by her parents Thomas Reid and Jean Blackley. Loved like a daughter by John and Majory Smith (both predeceased). Dear sister-in-law to Colin Smith and beloved big sister of Anne White (John), Archie Reid (Colette), John Reid (Marion), Tom Reid (Sue), Andrew Reid (Mary) (both predeceased), Linda Reid (Colin)and James Reid (Lyn). Much loved Auntie Mary to many nieces and nephews. Mary lived for her family and they meant the world to her. Always a dog lover, she was an amazing mom to her rescued fur baby Asher.

Thank you to the staff at Soldiers Memorial Hospital who took care of mom for the last few months.

A celebration of life will be held January 18, 2020 from 1-4 at the St.Vincent St. Legion in Barrie (entrance off of Ferris Lane).
