Passed away suddenly at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020. Ellen Furlong of Phelpston, beloved wife of the late Willis Furlong, in her 95th year. Dear mother of Heather (John) Braithwaite and Mark (Elizabeth) Furlong. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Ashleigh (Mark), Mark (Alison), Jason, Calvin, Wendy, Sara and Harrison. Proud great grandmother of Troy, Carmen, Everett and Kallum. Predeceased by her brother Jim and sisters Elsie and Merle. Ellen will be remembered as a hard working farmer all of her life and a devoted member of the Presbyterian Church.
A private family service will be followed by interment at Elmvale Cemetery.
The family looks forward to hosting a Celebration of Life to honour Ellen’s life at a later date.
