The family of William John Heads, aka Jack, is saddened to announce he passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, holding his wife’s hand, the morning of 25, December, 2020, at the age of 75 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Heads; children: Samantha Zammit and Christopher Heads; grandchildren: Makayla (Jacob), Aislinn, Hazel, Jessica (Allan), Ethan, and Willow; great grandchild: Brooklyn; brother-in-law, Cliff Baker (Barb); sister-in-law, Lianne Manley; special friend to, Terri, Jill (Cindy), Remi and Lexi as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving; sister, Jayne Larose; brother, Craig Heads; and his parents: William and Anne.
Jack will be remembered best for his sense of humor and his compassion towards human life. Even in Jack’s last few years he was very full of life and spent his time relaxing on the front porch, keeping an eye on all of the neighbourhood children, and filling every room he entered with laughs and smiles. The room he spent the most time filling with his joy was the dialysis unit, in Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, joking around with the nurses. Our family would like to send a special thank you to the staff in the dialysis unit at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital and to his PSW’s; Shania, Heather, Delorse, Joanne , and his RPN; Pat for all of their care, compassion and for surviving all his jokes.
A Private Funeral Service will be held at 1pm, on 8th, January 2021. Due to Covid-19 our family is welcoming you to join us via YouTube (search: Lynn Stone Funeral Home).
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to be made in memory of Jack Heads to Kidney Foundation.
