SPARROW, DAVID JAMES

After a long and exceptional life, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 93. David Sparrow of Wymbolwood Beach, dear husband of the late Bridget Sparrow (nee O’Sullivan). Cherished father of Paul and his wife Deborah, Anne Campbell and her husband Chuck and Louise Sparrow and her husband Eric Pohl. Much loved grandfather of Devon Campbell, and her husband Ben Jillard. He will be forever missed by his great granddaughter Brody as well as a large extended family living across the globe. Predeceased by his son Kevin, grandson Colin Campbell, brother John and sister Betty. David spent his career in the education field in many roles, in Canada, Bahamas, and Tanzania. He was a staunch supporter of the Wymbolwood Beach Association, working diligently to raise funds through advertising sales, making his community a better place.  Many of his children's friends loved and admired him. He was a true gentleman, and will be missed by all who knew him. Please raise a cup of tea in his honour.

His ashes will be inturred at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Perkinsfield.
