Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, in her 75th year. Joanne Steed, a happy resident of Hillsdale for 33 years, was predeceased by her husband Douglas Steed (April 2022). Dear mother of Laura Paquette (Walter) and Douglas Jr. (Lisa). Cherished grandmother to Andrew, Ryan (Tash), Tom, Justin (Erinn) and proud great grandmother to Rowan and Sawyer. Survived by brothers Burt Smith (Carolynne) and Fred Wright (Suzanne). Joanne will be missed by her fur babies, Dolly and Dixie. Joanne was an active volunteer with OSSA and Barrie Gun Club.
A celebration of Joanne's life will be held at a later date.
Joanne and Douglas will rest together at St. James Cemetery, Orillia.
