THIFFAULT, ROBERT "BOB"

 June 23, 1938 - November 3, 2022

Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Thursday November 3, 2022 in his 85th year.

Loving husband of 64 years to Yvette (nee Pilon).  Steadfast and loving father of Martin Thiffault (Kathy), Brigitte Minty (Paul), Frank Thiffault (Trish) and Mignon Thiffault (Glen Bevan). Joyful Pepere to Karleigh, Zachary, Josh(Renee), Nathan, Danielle(Chris), Jessica, Lexi (Bart) and Xanne (Chris).  Grand-pepere to Brooklyn (Josh/Rene), Thyme, Chloe, Aspen (Lexi/Bart) Blair and Ellis (Xanne and Chris).

Bob cherished his family and lived by his often spoken motto….”Success begins at home”.

He was the loving youngest son of and pre deceased by his parents Albert and Ethel(nee Yon) Thiffault of Midland and sisters Patricia (Percy Morris), Margaret (Andy Bell), Shirley (Doug Chew), brother Frank Thiffault (Gertie), in-laws Isaac and Alda Pilon and brother in-law Marc Pilon. Uncle Bob will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. 

Bob lived life to the fullest. To name but a few of his many interests, he enjoyed traveling, boating, art, music, woodworking and camping. Bob was personable, a good friend to many and he looked forward to spending time with them throughout his life. 

Cremation has taken place. Private interment will take place in the future.

A favourite sentiment of Bob’s was “Tu me manques” meaning ….you are missing from my heart.  In keeping with this, Bob’s amiable and personable way and his love of family you can honour his memory by holding your family close at heart and staying in touch with each other.
