October 17, 1941-December 2, 2022
With sadness in our hearts we must announce that John Couper of Elmvale died peacefully surrounded by family at home on December 2, 2022. John was a loving husband of late Joan Couper (Currie). John is survived by his sons Jason Couper (Christina Bastion) and Blair Couper (Erin Couper), grandchildren Ainsleigh and Jordan. John spent 33 years on the Metro Toronto Police Service. John loved sports. He loved playing golf and baseball. He was a Detroit Lions fan, It is too bad he never got to see them win a Super Bowl.
John kept his sense of humour and good nature until the end. He always put others before himself. He will be greatly missed.
The Family would like to thank all the staff and volunteers at Royal Victoria Regional Health Center and the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Center.
As per John’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Memorial donations can be made to the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre.
