Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie on Friday, December 2, 2022. Brigid Van De Sande (nee McGill) of Barrie in her 64th year. Beloved wife of George Van De Sande. Dear mother of Amanda, Mark (Carol), and Matthew. Proud and loving grandmother of Skyler, Mckinley, Kolby, and Brody. Sister of Cathy Mathers (late Howard), Patrick McGill, Bob McGill, Mike (Sandra) McGill, Clair (Darlene) McGill, and the late John, Mark, Greg, Dan, and Paul. Brigid will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, friends and extended family in Holland.
A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Eulogies will be said at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick's church in Phelpston on Wednesday, December 7 at 11 am.
