CONN, MICHAEL THOMAS

     Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, with his family by his side, on Monday, January 30, 2023. Mike Conn of Wasaga Beach, dear husband of Marjorie (nee Madill), in his 77th year. Cherished father of Jeff (Jeannie) and Lu-Anne (Dwight) Breedon. Proud grandfather of Alex, Ben, Miranda, Allie (Courtland) and Kyle. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Jim, his twin, (Sandy; predeceased) and George (Sandy). He will be missed by his in-laws, Donna (John), Carol (Ross), predeceased by Bill (survived by Joanne), Bev (Ed) and Ken (Olga) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Mike was a 'global traveler'. He and Marj were able to visit many places in Canada, Europe and beyond. He enjoyed his years as a minor hockey coach when his son was playing. He was well known for his 6-Horse Clydesdale Hitch, always taking pride in showing off his beloved team. More recently he was an active woodworker taking great pride in his projects.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18th at Lynn-Stone Funeral Home from 1 - 2 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 2 pm. The service can be viewed on YouTube at about 1:55 pm; search: Lynn Stone Funeral Home

Cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow later in the year at Elmvale Cemetery.
