TRACE, CHERYL ANNE (nee ECCLESHALL)

Cheryl passed away peacefully at Simcoe Hospice on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, with family by her side. Beloved wife of Leslie Trace. Forever Dear Mother of Scott (Holly) Trace and Janine (Mike) Pearson. A Special Nanny to Averie, Addison and Audrey Trace, and George and Charlie Pearson. These lucky Grandchildren will forever remember the Dear Nanny who always had time to snuggle, act out nursery rhymes, read books, or bake, during their frequent visits. Cheryl's memory will be cherished by brother Ross (Linda) Eccleshall and Mother in Law Bunny Trace as well as in Laws John (Shelley), Douglas (Joey), Nancy (Mark) James and Wendy (Ron) Clark. Predeceased by Parents Brian and Linda Eccleshall, and Linda's companion John Emmanuel, Brother Dean Eccleshall, father in Law Bill Trace and brother In Law Stephen Trace. Cheryl will be remembered as a second Mom to the children she Baby-Sat, and as a caring presence to nieces and nephews, and the many young people she helped as Custodian in Simcoe County Schools. Cheryl will be missed by many other Family members and Friends from The Simcoe County School Board, and her volunteer work in the Elmvale community.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 16 between 1 and 4 P.M. at Elmvale Legion Hall.
