HERRON, JEFFREY WATERS

Jeff Herron passed suddenly, after a brief illness over the Christmas season, in the early hours of December 31, 2023. He will be deeply missed by his sister, Bernilu Herron of Nova Scotia (previously from Orr Lake, Ontario), his three nephews, Gordon Black/Amanda (of NS), Greg Black/Cindy (of Brampton, Ont) and Cpl BJ Black/wife Starla (of NS) and also his fiancé Kelly Mckendry/daughter Ivy (of Elmvale, Ontario). He will also be missed by his eight great nieces & nephews Brayden, Alexa, Cydney, Dexton, Nolan, Gordie, Natalie & Cameron. Jeff was predeased by his parent’s Bernard and Lucy Herron (of Orr Lake)

Jeff touched many lives and was much loved in the community of Elmvale and surrounding areas and known for his big heart, one of a kind laugh and the twinkle in his eyes. He was a very hard worker who spent most of his life as a long haul truck driver and in the last years as highway maintenance with Fowlers. His favourite pastime was riding his motorcycle or playing horseshoes or relaxing with his cat Coco. His memory will live on forever. June 1, 1959 - December 31, 2023

A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 11 am – 1 pm on Friday, January 5, 2023.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 pm.
