Long time member of Unity United Church, Vasey, Elmvale Sunshine Club, Prime Time Club, Wasaga Beach, charter member of Sunbirds Probus Club, Wasaga Beach, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the age of 93. Loved wife of the late Ken Rumney and Harold Kidd. Mother of John of Elmvale, Jim (Kate), Bob (Toshiko) all of British Columbia, Connie Kidd of Hamilton and the late William. Grandmother of Molly (Nick) New Zealand, Mitchell, Charlie (Jessica) Joey and Ray of British Columbia, Bill (Melissa) of Elmvale. Great grandmother of 9. Sister of Peggi Diebel, British Columbia, Mary Jane Burnett of Orangeville and the late Jean Swan, Annabelle Caffry, Keith and Murray Waples. Daughter of the late John and Bertha Waples of Elmvale.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale on Saturday, June 1, with a visitation from 12:30 pm until the time of service at 2 pm.
