MacDonald, Mary Lillian (McAuley), passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 surrounded by family, at Tompkins Hospice, Penetanguishene. Mary was born in Elmvale in 1946, with the majority of her life spent on Bluewater Beach in Tiny. Mary was the beloved wife of Richard for 47 years and the most loving and devoted mother of Erin Illing (Thai), and Roslyn Campbell (Matt). She was an adoring Nana to Deacon and Hayden Illing, and "Beach" Nana to Hope (deceased), Norah and Coleson Campbell. Predeceased by her parents, Alex and Beatrice McAuley and her brother, Alex (Sandy) McAuley. Sister-in-law to Sharon and Harry Beebe (deceased). Loving aunt to Wade Beebe, Evan McAuley and Kate Akerfeldt.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Bayshore Healthcare and Tompkins House nurses and staff for all of their care and compassion.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Mary’s life on June 23 in the Remax Room at Wasaga Stars Arena from 2-5 with a dedication to Mary at 3pm.
