MELNYK, LAVERNE DIANE (nee WUTZKE)

Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Sunday, June 9, 2024.  Laverne Melnyk of Barrie in her 81^st year.  Beloved wife of the late Edward Melnyk.  Dear mother of Allan Melnyk, Janie Lovell (Glenn Pirie), Jennifer Melnyk, and Ashlee Melnyk.  Loving grandmother of Jarrett (Corrie-Lynn), Kyle (Quianna), Zoe, Devin (Scott), Darcee, and Sadie.  Great-grandmother of Odette, Ada, Perrin, Aviendha, and Benjamin.  Sister of Marilyn, Janice, Cindy, and Rick.

A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale on Saturday, June 15 from 12 pm – 2 pm.  Eulogies will be said at 1:30.  Reception immediately to follow from 2 pm – 4 pm at the Elmvale Presbyterian Church.

If desired, memorial donations may be made in Laverne’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association.
