In Loving memory of Bernadette Reynolds, December 29, 1933 – February 15, 2025.
It is with much sadness that we share that Bernie passed away at her home in Toronto, Ontario on Saturday February 15, 2025. She was surrounded by a strong community of supportive neighbours, friends, caregivers and family who honoured her wish to live out her final days in her home in the East York community she loved and knew so well. Her family extends profound gratitude for all of the love and support this community offered her to keep her safe and comfortable in her home. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the VHA PSW’s and Buddy Services Caregivers who supported our mother in this final phase of her life.
Bernie was 91 and was born in Phelpston, Ontario
Youngest sister to Margaret Belcourt, Mary Stone, Joan Kennedy, Jack Moran, Eugene Moran, Gerard Moran and Patrick Moran. All who predeceased her.
Bernie was the dear Mother of Sharon Reynolds, Anne Nasello (Mike Nasello), Michael Reynolds (Kathy Reynolds), Lorraine Reynolds (Johnny Graham).
Bernie had many fond memories of time spent with her grandchildren Chantelle Macey, Victoria Petersen, Michael Nasello, Christopher Reynolds, Craig Nelson, and Kyle Nelson.
She was also an adoring Great Grandmother to Harriet Macey, and Gwen Macey.
Bernie was known for her kindness, generosity, and quick wit that was the foundation for many joyous kitchen parties and sometimes dances!!
She was a keen card player and enjoyed many euchre games at her kitchen table with friends and family. She often touted that her greatest accomplishment in life was her children and the extended family she enjoyed throughout her life.
Bernie will be laid to rest alongside her parents, siblings, and other relatives at St. Patrick’s cemetery in Phelpston, Ontario on May 24, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Bernie’s memory to Covenant House in Toronto would be her wish.
