JOHNSON, WILLIAM "BILL" JOHN

William (Bill) John Johnson, age 65, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, in Toronto General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born on May 11, 1960, in Toronto, Ontario, Bill was a devoted husband to Catherine, a cherished son to George,  predeceased by his first wife Vicki Johnson and his mother, Nancy (Shaw) Johnson. He was a dear brother to Gail and George Junior (wife Bonnie).

Bill is survived by his children: Crystal (husband Jordan), Jody (wife Jenny), Tracy, Tammy (husband Marcus), Jennifer (husband Christopher), and Michael (wife Tiffany), 25 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren and extended family and all friends, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. He cherished every moment spent with his family.

Bill's passions were varied and deep, from the technical challenges of building to the artistic world of 3D design. Yet, his love for the beach was a constant thread throughout his life. Rooted in his childhood memories of Wasaga Beach and enriched by countless trips with his family, the beach was a place of joy, relaxation, and cherished family moments.

Bill will be lovingly remembered for his unwavering generosity and willingness to help others. Whether it was lending a hand, offering a comforting word, or simply being a listening ear, Bill was always there for his family, friends, and even strangers in need. His kindness touched countless lives, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. He was a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support for his loved ones.

A memorial service to celebrate Bill's life will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025  at 11 AM to 1 PM at 15 YONGE ST., S., ELMVALE, ON LOL 1PO , Funeral Service in the chapel at 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Liver Canada.

Donations can be made through their website at liver.ca, as a testament to his giving spirit. Bill's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
