It is with great sadness that the family of James Wolsley Wickson announce his passing on Friday, August 19, 2016, in his 85th year. He fought a courageous fight with pulmonary fibrosis and leukemia. He is survived by his loving wife Isabel and three sons-Doug, Bob(Tracy), Don and granddaughter Jacqueline and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Garnet and Estella Wickson and sisters Alice and Ruth.
Jim embraced all life had to offer with his interest in sailing, astronomy, and travelling with Isabel to the far reaches of the world.
His body was donated to the Division of Anatomy, University of Toronto for anatomical studies.
Visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home, Elmvale on Saturday, October 1st, 2016 from 1 pm until the time of the Memorial Service in the chapel at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Famous People Players,
Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation or the Midland OSPCA.
