Passed away peacefully at the Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland on January 6, 2026. Carol Pilipenko of Elmvale in her 71st year. Carol was born in Aberdeen Scotland and immigrated to Canada as a baby and was always very passionate about her Scottish heritage.
Beloved wife of Michael Wiwczaruk. Loving mother of Kristin and Stephen. Cherished grandmother of Cadence and Grady. Pre-deceased by her brother Ian.
Carol loved animals, cooking and doing crafts, as well as spending time with her friends and family. She had a great career in the area as a Pet Groomer. Her 30+ years made her “top dog” in her trade. Carol was also a proud Legion member for over 35 years.
A Celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA.
