HOPE, ANTHONY "TONY"

Tony Hope passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital on April 2, 2025, in his 86^th year.  Beloved husband of the late Ruth, and loving father to his daughter Kelly and son-in-law Jake.  Tony will be deeply missed by his sisters, Moire, Edie, Eileen, and Margaret, and remembered with love alongside his late sister Rosie.  He is also mourned by his brothers Michael and Martin, and in memory of his late brothers Geoffrey and Patrick.  Cherished uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  He will also be fondly remembered by the Beaton family and a wide circle of wonderful friends.

Tony was a proud Past Master of Coronation Masonic Lodge #466 in Elmvale and a Past District Deputy Grand Master of the Masonic North Georgian District.  His distinguished career as a stonemason took him to many countries, and he later retired as a Building Inspector for the City of Barrie and served as Deputy Mayor of Springwater.

Rest in Peace, Tony.

In accordance with Tony’s wishes, there will be no formal service.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
